Seminars & Courses		Academia Arabesca offers courses and seminars on specific aspects of Moroccan culture. We also host special events and excursions into the desert, the mountains, or the seaside.
		This group is having a lecture by a Moroccan University professor on the position of women in Moroccan society.
		Here a group is having a hands-on learning experience about Moroccan textiles. All Arabesca courses integrate theory and practice so that participants benefit from being immersed in Moroccan culture.
Special Events		Birthday celebrations are just one of the special events that Academia Arabesca hosts. At this birthday party, there were local musicians who performed and danced with the guests. The group stayed in Marrakech long enough to also participate in local events - some visited an orchestra's rehearsal, and one member gave a concert at a local art gallery.
		Our Moroccan neighbours are often invited to special events at Riad Arabesca.
Excursions		Academia Arabesca offers various excursions to the mountains and the desert in conjunction with a licensed Moroccan tour operator.
		No course on Moroccan culture would be complete without seeing the villages of the High Atlas and meeting the people who live there.
		...Just as anyone interested in traditional architecture should see the incredible multi-storey kasbahs made entirely of clay, wood and straw.
		Meet Moroccans from all backgrounds. This man is one of a group of musicians from the South of the country who taught a class to Academia Arabesca members.
		And what better way to learn about the life of nomads than spending several nights living as a nomad in bivouac tents in the desert?
		Of course, learning how to ride a dromedary can be an education in itself.
