Courses

An Academia Arabesca course is an excellent way to gain a better understanding of a modern and increasingly diverse Moroccan society.

Our courses are process-oriented, with specific focus on close contact with Moroccans and active participation the Moroccan way of life, far deeper than just the surface. Every stage of your experience during the course will be an important part of learning - from meals, educational outings, visits to the souk (bazaar) or trips to the bathhouse.

Courses
A Swedish group gets a hands-on experience learning about Moroccan textiles.

 

Included in your course fees are:


- Transfers to and from your arrival point in Marrakech
- Transportation during the course (by taxi, bus, or horse-drawn carriage)
- Instruction, including printed materials and study trips
- Bus tour of Marrakech, including entrance fees to museums and tips for local guides.
- Neighborhood party, including musicians, dancers, and local guests.
- Visit to the local hammam (public bathhouse.)
- Some meals will be included, for example when eating with a local family
- Tea breaks during class sessions and while out on excursions
